  • When do I have to apply for a temporary residence permit?

    An application for temporary residence may be submitted at any time during your legal stay in Poland, but no later than the last day of your legal stay in the Republic of Poland.

  • How can I obtain a residence card?

    The Residence Card is issued after a positive decision of the Voivode. You then have to pay a fee of PLN 100. You have to pay PLN 200 to replace the residence card if it is lost or destroyed due to the foreigner's fault.

  • Do I have to register?

    YES There is an obligation to register in Poland. Most foreigners must register within 30 days. EU citizens have three months to do so.

  • Is a passport a travel document?

    A travel document is any document that allows you to cross borders.

  • What does the Pole's Card give me?

    The Pole's Card makes it easier to work in Poland, study and travel around Poland.

  • What documents should you prepare for getting married in Poland?

    ● Identity document (ID card, passport)

  • Does marriage to a Polish woman automatically give you Polish citizenship?

    NO. A person who marries a Polish woman/man does not automatically obtain Polish citizenship. However, it shortens the procedure for obtaining such citizenship.

  • How to register a child of a foreigner?

    We have 21 days to report the birth of a child. The application is free of charge, and the birth certificate is shortened and a complete copy is issued immediately - in your hand.

  • What are child benefits?

    There are various types of child benefits in Poland. It starts with a baby shower - PLN 1,000 after the birth of the child; then we have 500 , i.e. monthly allowance

  • How can you get a Polish pension?

    To obtain a Polish pension, you must have previously worked in Poland and made contributions
